Frequently Asked Questions

Is Lion Heart Open During the Holidays?
Lion Heart Equipment is open for many holidays but is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. 

What are your hours of operation?
Lion Heart’s standard hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Need us after hours? No worries: our Service Directors and Equipment Sales team are always available to assist with any of your heavy equipment concerns out in the field. You can contact our Sales Director, Joshua White, at (936) 727-8371 for support at any time.  

Can equipment deliveries be scheduled for delivery on Saturday or Sunday?
Yes, our Service Director, Mr. Jeremy Fiscus, works with each rental client to ensure their logistics needs are well met and that their rented heavy equipment arrives on time to meet your project’s needs. 

What happens if the equipment breaks or quits working while I’m renting it?
Lion Heart Equipment inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental, and it should always be in good working order. Should you experience any problems with your rented equipment, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Service Director, Mr. Jeremy Fiscus, at (936) 828-6010. 

What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
No worries! Should you need to keep your equipment longer than originally anticipated, we are happy to work with you; just give our main office a call.  If the equipment is available for an extended term, Lion Heart will add the additional time and charges to your contract. Please refer to the rental contract, where the minimum, week, and 4-week rental rates are shown for the rented heavy equipment.  Our Sales Director, Mr. Joshua White, will happily work with you to ensure that all your project’s equipment rental needs are met.

What are your rental requirements?
We require all rental clients to sign a rental agreement, provide a copy of a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, etc.), and provide a certificate of insurance that shows proof of the required rental coverage for the equipment being rented (more information provided below). Renters must also complete a “Project Information” form that provides information on where the equipment will be utilized.  

Summary of Insurance requirements: 
  • Property insurance covering equipment for damage as a result of fire, theft, collision, or any other causes; Minimum Limit of Coverage: Equipment value, including all attachments
  • Comprehensive General Liability; Minimum Limit of Coverage: Combined single limit of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.
  • Certificate of Insurance coverage•    Lion Heart Equipment must also be included as a Loss Payee/Additional Insured on the

If claiming sales tax exemption, rental clients will be required to provide applicable documentation.

Do I have to return the equipment full of fuel?
We aim to send our equipment out full of fuel, so we do ask that the equipment be returned full of fuel to avoid any additional charges.
